The "AI Reply from Document" feature enables you to create automated responses for your chat flows. By uploading a document, linking to a static URL, or using a dynamic site, the AI can extract relevant information and provide accurate answers to user inquiries. This is ideal for businesses or organizations looking to provide quick, consistent responses to common questions.
Log in to your account and navigate to the AI Reply from Document page. Select or create a project where you want to set up.
You have three options to provide the content for the AI to use:
Click on the box labeled "Choose a file or drag and drop your file here."
Select a file from your device (e.g., a Word document, PDF, or text file).
Once uploaded, the file will appear in the "Select documents" section with details such as the file name, upload date, and size.
If your content is hosted online as a static page, select the "Static URL" option.
Enter the URL of the webpage containing the information (e.g., http://www.example.com/).
The AI will fetch the content from the provided static URL to use in its responses.
If your content is on a dynamic site (e.g., a webpage that updates frequently, such as a blog or news site), select the "Dynamic Site" option.
Enter the URL of the dynamic site.
The AI will periodically fetch the latest content from the dynamic site to ensure responses are up-to-date.
Check the box next to the document, static URL, or dynamic site you want the AI to use to generate replies.
If you no longer need a document or link, you can delete it by clicking the trash can icon next to the entry.
Select the documents and try them out in the right-side testing area. Modify your documents to provide better answers to your customers.
Check the box next to each language for which you want to set a prompt. You can set different prompts for different languages to tailor responses for multilingual audiences.
Edit the prompt to provide specific instructions for the AI. Customizing the prompt allows you to control the tone, style, and specific instructions for the AI, ensuring responses align with your brand or project goals. If you choose not to set a custom prompt, the AI will use the system default: "Provide the answer based on the published documents or URLs."
A drop-down menu will display available models. Select the one that best suits your needs.
If you’re unsure which model to choose, the default model is typically a good starting point for most use cases.
Once you’ve uploaded your document, static URL, or dynamic site and selected the appropriate model, it’s time to publish.
Your document is now published, and the AI will use it to generate responses in your chat flow when you select this project.
